When we began choosing fabrics for loomela, we kept returning to one question: would I want my own daughter to sleep in this?
Bamboo viscose, woven softly, kept answering yes. It is naturally breathable, regulating temperature in a way cotton sometimes cannot — warm enough on cooler evenings, cool enough when the room is too still.
It has a particular drape against the skin. Lighter than cotton, smoother than linen, with a quiet sheen that feels considered rather than showy. For sensitive skin, especially the skin of growing girls, this gentleness matters.
Bamboo is not the whole answer. But it is a fibre we trust, sourced carefully, and one we keep returning to because it does its job quietly.
with love, loomela
